How To Generate A List Of Installed Patches On An EPM System Server
- From a command line, change the directory to <EPM_ORACLE_HOME>/OPatch (example C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\OPatch)
- Execute the below script:
- Code:
For Windows Run:
opatch.bat lsinventory -oh <EPM_ORACLE_HOME> -jdk <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>/jdk160_29 > patchlist_servername.txt
For Unix/Linux:
./opatch lsinventory -oh <EPM_ORACLE_HOME> -jdk <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>/jdk160_29 –invPtrLoc <EPM_ORACLE_HOME>/oraInst.loc > patchlist_servername.txt
- The above command should generate a patchlist.txt file under the Opatch directory. Upload the file/files from each server to the SR for review.
<EPM_ORACLE_HOME> example C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1
<MIDDLEWARE_HOME> example C:\Oracle\Middleware
Change servername in the last part of the command to the actual server name.
The JDK directory/version may be different various EPM releases.
The easiest way to type the command correctly is to start typing each directory then use the tab key to finish the directory.
For example, when you type C:\Oracle\Middlware\j you can press the tab key and it will complete the directory like C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1 -jdk C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_29
